Interview Transcripts

In reading the transcripts of the interviews it should be remembered that as stories are passed from one generation to another, elaborations or modifications can occur. Important information unintentionally can be omitted. Nevertheless oral history can compliment information gained from official documents and published histories and thereby add a sense of reality, achievement and colour to what might otherwise be viewed as dry uninteresting and unrelated facts.
