The Le Bon Collection

Fred Le Bon worked his acres in Old Dandenong Road, Heatherton, growing a variety of vegetables sold at Melbourne’s Victoria Market. Along with his everyday work he had a hobby collecting market gardening equipment which he displayed in several sheds on his property. On his death some of this wonderful collection was gifted to the City of Kingston which is now investigating how it can be preserved and made accessible to the community.
